11,000 scholarships for ethnic students

Updated on 3/23/2008 at 15:40 Vu A Dinh scholarship fund has cooperated with Thanh Hoa provincial Communist Youth Union to review nine years of the fund's establishment in Ngoc Lac district, Thanh Hoa province. Former Vice State President and Head of the Vu A Dinh scholarship fund, Truong My Hoa, attended the ceremony. Since its establishment, the fund has presented 11,000 scholarship to ethnic minority students nationwide and cooperated with international organizations and enterprises to build three houses for Khmer ethnic minority pupils. On this occasion, the fund also coordinated with REE company to inaugurate Ngoc Lac primary school for ethnic minority people in Thanh Hoa province and presented 100 scholarships for outstanding ethnic students in the province.
