Vientiane (VNA) – Lao Prime Minsiter Bouasone Bouphavanh said he highly values the cooperation in culture, sports and tourism between Laos and Viet Nam in recent years.
The Lao PM made the statement while receiving a visiting delegation from Vietnam 's Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism led by Minister Hoang Tuan Anh in Vientiane on March 21.
He praised Vietnam for funding a number of cultural work, adding that upcoming projects to restore the Kaysone Phomvihan Museum and build a national arts college and a sports training centre in Laos are clear evidence of the special Lao-Viet Nam relationship.
PM Bouasone said he believed that with Viet Nam 's assistance, Laos will successfully organise the 25 th Southeast Asian (SEA) Games next year.
Minister Tuan Anh said the two sides will soon implement signed cooperation agreements and prepare for long-term cooperation between the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Laos ' Ministry of Culture and Information, National Sports Committee and Tourism Administration.-Enditem
