The Noi Bai International Airport will be expanded with a new passenger terminal to be finished in 2010, according to the Civil Aviation Administration of Vietnam.

Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Sinh Hung has asked for construction of the terminal at Hanoi's main airport to begin in October and to be finished within two years.

The enlarged airport would target a capacity of 50 million passengers a year, Hung said.
